Hurricane Ike

I thought we left all this mess behind when we left Louisiana!!!

Well, looks like another hurricane is headed our way. Since we have received several call asking if we are ok, we decided that the best way to get word out to everybody would be to post on our blog. We are doing well. From the looks of things the hurricane is going to pass to our east, which is good news. It looks like we will have some wind and some rain, but not nearly what we thought yesterday when it showed the eye going right over the top of us. Our phones are working and we do have power and water at this point. It looks like we are supposed to start feeling the winds and weather in a couple of hours. We will keep everyone posted. But for now, our home phones and cell phones are all working so feel free to call if needed.
